In terms of design, Made in Japan is my happy place.
A few years back, when I got a bonus from work, Ross and I agreed that I’d put it towards a new dinner set.
I knew exactly where that dinner set was going to come from, the really hard part was narrowing my choices down to just one design.
We finally agreed on one called ‘Matte & Shiny Black‘. To this day I love it.

The thing about TEDx, is that you don’t know what to expect, but you know it’s going to be good.
My favourite speaker of the day was Lisa McInnes-Smith, who spoke about it being OK to stand out. She spoke with humour, passion and energy. I was very inspired by her.

Thomas King’s TEDx talk wasn’t my favourite talk on the day, but it’s been the one that has inspired the most debate since. Which I think is the sign of something truly interesting.
