While out on a roadtrip, we stumbled across the ‘International Festival of Lighthouses’ (who knew that was a thing?) at the Split Point Lighthouse, I’m partial to a lighthouse, so we stopped and had a look around.

spontaneous road trip
Food, TourismRoss and I took a spontaneous road trip to celebrate his birthday.
We went along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay, There were a lot of whales just off the coast, and you could easily see them as you drove along, we stopped several times to watch them play, they jumped and splashed around, it was amazing.
When we got to Apollo Bay we had dinner at a really lovely little seafood restaurant, called The Vista. Yum.
We highly recommend it.
