Venice Canals, Los Angeles.

The Venice Canal Historic District is a district in the Venice section of Los Angeles, California. The district is noteworthy for its man-made canals built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of his Venice of America plan

I had no idea that Los Angeles had canals! The houses in the area are all quirky and unique, some are modern and bold, others looked like liked they’d been stuck together with glue and sticky tape.

This house looked like it was made by Dr Seuss. Look at the window panes.

I actually wish I’d taken more photos.

Healesville Glass Blowing Studio

A friend of Ross’ introduced us to Healesville Glass Blowing Studio. They run two day glass blowing classes. I plan to take one early next year. I really miss having the space to create beads. Creating art glass is really immersive and almost meditative.
